New All-Time State Low Pressure Record at Lamar, Colorado 970.4 mb

The National Weather Service in Pueblo, Colorado, the Colorado Climate Center, the Weather Prediction Center, and the National Center for Environmental Information have determined that a new all-time State of Colorado record for lowest pressure measured was set at Lamar, Colorado during the historic March 2019 blizzard.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019 a mean sea level pressure of 970.4 mb was recorded at the Lamar Airport. The previous State of Colorado record was 975.0 mb set at Lamar Airport on March 13, 1973.
Other records from the March 13, 2019 blizzard include, La Junta breaking its mean sea level pressure at 971.2 mb, Pueblo Airport breaking its mean sea level record at 974.2 mb, Colorado Springs Airport breaking its all-time wind gust record at 96 MPH, and La Junta breaking its all-time wind gust record at 88 MPH.
