Our team at Prowers Medical Center would like to inform our patients and visitors about updates and important reminders about our facility:

 

  • Our Registration & Admissions remodel is complete! The Registration area is once again located at the front of the hospital, diagonally across from the gift shop.
  • The doors at our main entrance are locked from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Monday – Friday and on weekends. Please use the after-hours entrance through the Emergency Department after 5:00 p.m. and during the weekend.
  • COVID-19 Screening is no longer required; however, every person is expected to wear a mask while on our medical campus. We will supply a mask in the event you forget to bring one with you.

Plainview School District RE-2 is seeking a full-time administrative assistant. Primary duties and responsibilities for this position include managing the front office, acting as the secretary for the superintendent and the board of education, managing the district student information system, and assisting district staff with state reporting. Experience is preferred but not essential to the position. Salary range for this position is $18,600-$27,350 depending on years of applicable experience. Full-Time Grant Specialist- City of Lamar–Under the Direction of the City Treasurer, the Grant Specialist shall manage and coordinate complex grant portfolios while ensuring compliance with the organization and funding agency regulations and laws.  This position researches and writes grant applications, secures grant funding and assists with the monitoring of grant awards.  Performs other duties as assigned to include but are not limited to: payroll maintenance, accounts payable functions and tracking of assets and inventory. Full-time Building Codes Clerk- City of Lamar – Under the general supervision of the Interim Building Official, performs a wide variety of complex and technical clerical support tasks primarily in support of the City’s Planning & Building Department. Operator In Training with CDL – City of Lamar – The OIT performs a variety of semi-skilled work in the operation, installation, and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater systems. The OIT must attain a class D or Small systems equivalent certification in water or wastewater within 6 months of joining the Department, and demonstrate competence in performing the basic duties of the trade. Will be on-call to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days per week on a rotating basis.
