Each year, SECPA and SECOM assist area groups with an annual donation and this past Wednesday, January 18th, four local groups received $500 each from the companies.
Jack Johnson, CEO, said the four are Lamar Area Hospice, Toys for Tots and the fire departments of Lamar and Towner. “We try to give donations to different organizations every year, but some are repeats because of the local impact they make on the community,” he explained, adding, “They all make significant contributions to our community and SECPA is happy to be able to support them in this way.”
