Juan Flores…March 21, 1977 – April 2, 2109

Mass of Christian Burial for Lamar, Colorado resident, Juan Flores will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Juan Manuel Flores was born on March 21, 1977 in Sain Alto, Zacatecas, Mexico to Eusebio Flores and Maria (Mungaray) Flores. He passed away after complication from his kidney transplant for which he waited six years for on April 2, 2019.

Juan was a “jack of all trades”. He took great pleasure in traveling, taking pictures, and just being around friends and family.  Juan was especially proud of his children and enjoyed attending all their events and school functions.  He was a man of faith and always had a positive attitude, never giving up during his illness.

Juan is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Flores; children, Bianca Flores, Bibianna Flores, and Gabriel Flores; father, Eusebio Flores; siblings, Manuela (Jesus) Gallegos, Magdalena (Lico Lira), San Juana Qualls (Miguel Reyes) all of Lamar, Colorado, Pablo Flores of Juarez, Mexico, and Nicolas Flores (Maria Rodriguez) of Lamar, Colorado; several aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Flores; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
