LCC’s Applegarth to rodeo at Chadron State

jessica-applegarthLamar Community College Rodeo recently announced that sophomore Jessica Applegarth of Yuba City, California, has transferred on to the next level in her rodeo career.

After completing her degree at LCC this fall, Applegarth signed with Chadron State where she plans to continue to compete while pursuing a degree in Business.  She will start competition with Chadron this spring.

Applegarth was on the rodeo team at LCC for two years, competing in goat tying and breakaway roping.

“Jessica always performed well here at LCC and I expect her to do well at Chadron,” said head rodeo coach Fred Sherwood.  “We wish her the best of luck on this next step.”
