Work Crew from Advantage Treatment Center updates paint and does minor repairs on front of Shore Arts Center building

Editor’s note: The following photo and text was sent to us by Judy Turpin, who is active in many of the recent beautification projects in downtown Lamar.

In anticipation of our upcoming 4th of July Main Street parade celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday, Colorado’s 150th and Lamar’s 140th….a great big thank you to Matt Amrine and his crew at the Advantage Treatment Center.  They recently gave the Shore Arts a beautiful enhancement.  They repaired and painted the tiles underneath the awning.  They completed the paint under the two windows that have been featuring historical businesses as well as current events throughout the year.  The three poles directly in front of the building have been painted as well as the metal awning over the building.

Featured in the picture are Joseph Bagwell, Ian Dunn, Bruce Salazar, Oscar Medina and Matt Amrine who orchestrates the projects.  (Pun on orchestrate is intended since Shore Arts is the home of our beloved Ark Valley Wind and Percussion.)  This is the 3rd project that they have been instrumental in during the past year.   Thank you,  ATC…..you are so appreciated!
