Leo Allen Ybarra – July 18, 1965 – May 20, 2025

A Mass of Christian burial for former longtime Lamar, Colorado resident, Leo Allen Ybarra, currently of Severance, Colorado will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, May, 30, 2025 at the St. Francis De Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Kenny Joe Parlingayan’S.S.S. as celebrant. A rosary service will be held prior to the Mass at 9:30AM at the St. Francis De Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. Full military honors will be held after the service at the St. Francis De Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church under the auspices of the Local V.F.W. and American Legion Posts.

Visitation for Leo will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Leo was born on July 18, 1965 at Lamar, Colorado to Federico and Virginia (Andrade) Ybarra and passed away on May 20, 2025 at the UC Health Greeley Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 59.

He is preceded in death by his father Frederico Ybarra.

Leo is survived by his mother Virginia Ybarra and sister Diane (Felix) Dias all of Severence, CO and his children Lysandra and Lytasha Ybarra as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leo Ybarra Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
