Ernisto Lopez  November 5, 1943 – October 18, 2019

A Graveside Memorial Service for Ernisto Lopez will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado with military rites provided by the local V.F.W. and American Legion Post.

Ernisto Roberto Lopez, known to most as Robert, was born on November 5, 1943 to Louis and Marie Lopez.  He passed away on October 18, 2019 at the Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 75.

Robert attended school in Limon, Colorado and entered into the United States Army in 1963.  He served in Germany until he was honorably discharged in 1965.  He then began trucking for several different companies until his health forced him to retire.  Robert enjoy fishing during his free time.

Robert is survived by his son, Victor (Lupe) Lopez; daughter, Hope Lopez of Texas; sister, Linda (Michael) Nicholl; brother Louis Jr. (Angie) Lopez; five grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Monroe Lopez; siblings, Rachel Reyes, Johnny Lopez, and Lori Garza.
