Lance J. Vanderpoel…January 10, 1943 – December 16, 2018

Services for longtime Lamar resident, Lance J. Vanderpoel, will be held at a later date.

Per Lance’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

Lance J. Vanderpoel was born on January 10, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI to John Cornelius Vanderpoel and Ruth Roberts-Vanderpoel and departed this life on December 16, 2018 at his home in Lamar at the age of 75.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister- Vyvian Vanderpoel.

Lance is survived by three siblings – Marie (Don) Brookhart of Gold Hill, CO; Linda Meeks of Erie, CO; and Greta (Bruce) Harper of Port Orchard, WA as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Local VFW or American Legion either directly or through the funeral home office.
