Wanda Jean Rodgers…April 22, 1948 – July 28, 2017

A graveside memorial service for Wanda Rodgers will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Diane Hutson will officiate.

Wanda Jean Rodgers was born on April 22, 1948 in Columbia, Missouri to Wallace L. and Betty Jean (Frost) Grigsby and passed away on July 28, 2017 in Las Animas, Colorado at the age of 69.

Wanda was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother and she never missed an opportunity to teach her family life-lessons. She was a very strong and caring woman with an immense love for her family.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Rodgers; children, Teresa L. Rodgers, Kenneth E. Rodgers, Becky J. Rodgers and Jessica L. Rodgers; brother, Jack Grigsby; daughter-in-law, Sheila Rodgers; and brother-in-law, Bob Rodgers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace L. and Betty Jean (Frost) Grigsby; and sister, Connie Grigsby.
