Prowers Economic Prosperity to Host Public Housing Study Meetings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–Prowers Economic Prosperity (PEP) announced Public Housing Study Meetings will take place on Wednesday, July 12th. The sessions will take place throughout the morning and afternoon at the Southeast Colorado Enterprise Development (SECED) Office, 112 West Elm Street, Lamar, CO.
The public is encouraged to attend and share their thoughts in the discussions for ensuring new housing prospects, the feedback from the community members of Prowers County will support the development of new strategies for encouraging new construction and funding housing opportunities.
When completed, the housing assessment will assist PEP and its partners in future planning of residential development that meet the diverse needs of Prowers County. The assessment will provide information and details pertaining to the community’s single and multifamily housing needs. Eric Depperschmidt, Executive Director of PEP said, “It is important for PEP to involve the community. Prowers County’s economy is seeing growth and we want to continue fueling that progress by further developing the infrastructure to support our residents and businesses. We look forward to hearing the community’s feedback on this important issue”.
