Quarter Century of Fun, 25th Annual Granada/Bristol Days

Town of Granada 6-1-16 (3)

The communities of Granada and Bristol have a lot planned for their 25th Annual celebration, beginning with the June 17th benefit supper and auction at the complex.  The 7pm meal will benefit the First Responders and Fire Personnel.

Saturday, June 18th, begins early with the 7am Amache Walk/Run from the post office.  The crowds will line the streets a little before 10am while the parade entries assemble at the Granada High School.  All local veterans are welcome to join the parade on the veteran’s float beginning at 9:30am.

The traditional frog/turtle race will start at 11am and at noon; vendors and food booths will be open at the park for the afternoon. Argie’s Famous Flyover will zoom overhead at 1pm and plenty of activities have been planned for the park between 1 and 4pm, including the horseshoe tournament.

Free prizes will be given out every half hour and the annual Granada Alumni Reception and Banquet is scheduled for the evening as well as an open air dance at the park from 8pm to 11pm.
