Bonnie Lucero – November 7, 1967 – July 7, 2026

A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Bonnie Lucero will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Paul Floyd of the High Plains Fellowship Church officiating.

Bonnie was born on November 7, 1967 at Trinidad, Colorado to Earl Lee and Priscilla Esther (Pedraza) Mayo and passed away on July 7, 2026 at the Prowers Medical Center with her family by her side at the age of 58. She is preceded in death by her parents. Bonnie is survived by her children Stephen Lucero of Spokane, WA and Katrina (Noe Gomez) Lucero of Lamar, CO, grandchildren Lylah Gomez, Levi Gomez and Jaxson Lucero, her significant other Carl Howard of Lamar, CO and her first husband Thomas Lucero of Lamar, CO, siblings James Pedraza of California, Earl Mayo of Lamar, CO, Bernie Mayo of Woodward,
OK and Becky Mayo of Lamar, CO. Bonnie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bonnie Lucero Memorial fund in care of the funeral home office.
