Thomas “Tom” Beakley – March 30, 1948 – June 10, 2026

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date for longtime Lamar resident Thomas Beakley, affectionately known to his family and friends as Tom. Tom was born on March 30, 1948 at Denver, Colorado to Thomas J. and Lois D. (Venn) Beakley and passed away on June 10, 2026 at his home at the age of 78 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers and two sisters. Tom is survived by his wife Carol Beakley of the family home in Lamar, children Justen (Joanna) Beakley, Rebecca (Robert) Truitt, Kristell Stegman and Katie (Kyle) Kurtz  all of Lamar, CO, grandchildren Kaitlei, Cody (Acacia), Brett, Kolby (McKenzie), Alex, Jakob (Kayleigh), Ky, Kiwi, Danica and Krypten. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Bentley, Brinley, Brayden, Alden, Adeline, Ayven, Krew and one more on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office. Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
