Dixie Bitner attends Positive Athlete Awards event in Denver to formally receive O.P.E.R.A.T.E. awards

As previously reported in a Prowers Journal article, recent Wiley High School graduate Dixie Bitner was the recipient of an O.P.E.R.A.T.E. Scholarship from the Positive Athlete organization.  Dixie was presented with her award and $2,500 check at the June 3 Colorado Positive Athlete Awards Experience in Denver at the DCSD Legacy Campus.  Dixie is also scheduled to be introduced at the June 20 Colorado Rockies game during the pre-game presentation.
