The Prowers County Republican Party will hold the 2026 Republican Caucus and County Assembly on the same day this year.

The Caucus and Assembly will be held March 7th, 2026 at the Historic Cow Palace Inn located at 1301 N. Main Street, Lamar.

Caucus check-in will begin at 9a.m. and the Caucus will begin at 10a.m.

The Caucus process will determine precinct Co-Chairs, for the 5 precincts, for the next two years, as well as delegates (up to 100) to the County assembly.

There will be up to 100 delegates(maximum) chosen at the Caucus for the Assembly, so a good Republican turn-out is needed.

A break will be given at the conclusion of the Caucus for one and a half hours, and then begin credentialing for the County Assembly.

We are estimating the County Assembly to begin at approx. 2p.m.

If you are chosen as a delegate at the Caucus you will need to return from break for the County Assembly, the assembly will determine Prowers County Republican candidates for the Primary election, as well as select delegates to the State Assembly.

There will be up to 100 delegates(maximum) chosen at the Caucus for the Assembly, so a good Republican turn-out is needed.
