Share the Spirit Foundation hosting “The Sneaker Ball” fundraiser August 17, 2024 from 6-9 pm

One of the area’s favorite charity groups, Share the Spirit Foundation, is hosting “The Sneaker Ball” on Saturday, August 17, from 6-9 PM.  The fundraiser is being held at The Max Chophouse, located at 201 S. Main Street in Lamar.  There will be a free appetizer bar and music provided by DJ Heather Curtis.  The Max will have steak and drink specials as well.  Persons attending are asked to bring a new pair (or pairs!) of kids’ socks with the tag on or to donate what they can.  Share the Spirit provides free shoes and socks for underserved youth in our community.

For those who would like to contribute socks or monetary donations but who cannot attend the event, you can bring your donations to our office, Robinson Printing, at 210 S. Main Street and we will make sure the Foundation receives them!  We are open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.   We will have a donation box available beginning Monday, August 12.

Wear your sneakers and dance the night away while helping a worthy charity!
