John W. Rife – June 28, 1953 – August 23, 2024

A memorial service for lifelong Lamar resident, John W. Rife will be held at a later date.

John was born on June 28, 1953 at Lamar, Colorado to John B.  and Wildie (Lamborn) Rife and passed away on August 23, 2024 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharon Rife.

John is survived by his wife Jeanine Rose of the family home in Lamar, children Billie Murdock, Tammy DeLaRosa and Christopher Rife, siblings Stan Rife, Sterling Rife and Virginia Rife as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the John W. Rife Memorial in care of the funeral home office.
