ATTENTION: Granada Police Scam

The Granada Police Department’s telephone number (719-734-5211) has been cloned by scammers.  We are receiving phone calls from all over the country telling us they received a call from our number wanting them to send money to some “lawyer” or place, because they say the person they called is in some kind of trouble, or they may pretend to be a family member stating they need money to get out of jail.  These scammers know people’s names and their family member’s names.

If you receive any such calls, please hang up, DO NOT send any money or give them any information and please notify us or your local law enforcement.
