Pueblo Vet Center Mobile Vet Center Visit to Lamar, CO

(Lamar, CO)- The Pueblo Vet Center Mobile Vet Center will be in Lamar, CO at the Walmart parking lot on Aug. 30th from 12 to 4:30pm and the 31st from 8am to 12pm by invitation of the Prowers County Veterans Service Officer. Vet Center staff will be on hand to provide information about Vet Center services and other resources that may benefit veterans in the area.

The Vet Center Program was established by Congress in 1979 out of the recognition that a significant number of Vietnam era vets were still experiencing readjustment problems.  Vet Centers are community based and part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The goal of the Vet Center program is to provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to eligible service members, veterans, and their families in order to help them make a satisfying post-war readjustment to civilian life.
