The hospital is buzzing with recent good news. At Quorum Health Resources’ Annual Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Prowers Medical Center was presented as the winner of “Best Overall Performance” among Critical Access Hospitals as part of Quorum’s National Excellence in Leadership awards for 2018. A public celebration is planned for next Thursday, August 30th at 6 pm at The Brew.
“We invite the community to celebrate with us. The community is the reason for our success; they have a choice of where to go for healthcare, and we are honored that they choose us. One of the reasons our hospital is the choice for healthcare is because of our outstanding staff. Their unending commitment to our patients and putting patients’ needs first shows in everything we do,” said Craig Loveless, Chief Executive Officer of Prowers Medical Center.
Quorum Health Resources has worked with more than 700 hospitals across the nation, providing consultation, management, education and training, and purchasing support. Many of these hospitals are in rural areas and are deemed critical access hospitals. It was among this group that Prowers Medical Center was selected for the “Best Overall Performance” Award.
“Thanks goes to all the staff who make Prowers Medical Center what it is. The board and hospital would be nothing without the dedicated team members who are not afraid to work and do what is right in all circumstances. The staff deserves the recognition and as a board member, I’m glad they are getting it,” said Ronny Farmer, Vice Chairman of the Hospital Board.
Other board members expressed similar sentiments:
“I agree wholeheartedly with Ronny. Working together with the goal of providing the best services is an achievement for everyone to take pride in. Thank you to the entire team.”
– Connie Brase, Secretary/Treasurer
“Thanks to everyone for their efforts and continued dedication to Prowers Medical Center!”
– Julie Branes, Chairwoman
“Outstanding! Hard work and determination does pay off! Congratulations!”
– Ty Rushton, Board Member
Please help the hospital celebrate the efforts of our entire healthcare team which resulted in this meaningful achievement! Free barista drinks and smoothies will be provided, along with light refreshments from 6 pm – 8 pm at The Brew on August 30th.
“The award is very gratifying for all of us because we continually strive to put patients first in everything we do. This award says that we do that, and we couldn’t be more pleased,” Loveless said.
Congratulations and thanks to all of our staff who serve our patients, visitors, physicians, staff members and community through compassionate care and unwavering dedication as we grow and enhance our services every day. See you at The Brew!
