Lamar Woman Faces Drug Charges

The Drug Task Force consisting of Prowers, Kiowa, Baca and Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Offices conducted an investigation in the distribution of narcotics.
On May 4th, 2018, the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office arrested Destiny M Hyatt, 29, of Lamar on the below listed charges:
CRS. 18-18-407 Controlled Substance – Special Offender, a Drug Felony 1
CRS. 18-18-405 Controlled Substance Distribution 7 to 112 grams Meth, a Drug Felony 2
CRS. 18-18-405 Controlled Substance Distribution, Heroin, a Drug Felony 3
CRS. 18-18-403.5 Controlled Substance Possession, Meth, a Drug Felony 4
CRS. 18-18-403.5 Controlled Substance Possession, Heroin, a Drug Felony 4
Bond for the warrant was set at $75,000 cash only. Hyatt made her second appearance in District Court on May 9th, 2018 where her bond was reduced by Judge Brinkley to $25,000 any type, after argument by the District Attorney against lowering the bond.
All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
