Holly Commercial Club Prepares for Holly Hock-It Event

This year’s annual Holly Hock-It Event will be held Saturday, August 5^th throughout the community.  A brief Holly Commercial Club meeting provided the details on the annual bargain hunt with a list of participants published in the Holly Shopper.

Those who want to be on the list should contact Tracie Kalma no later than July 21^st.  A map of all participants will be available at Reyman’s Grocery Store and those names are due by Thursday, August 3^rd.  Contact Tracie Kalma at 537-6617.  It’s suggested that the top three items or categories be listed for efficiency and space.

Rod Swisher reported that over 130 meals were served the Friday of the annual Blue Grass Festival to make it a profitable event. A donation for the Holly Fireworks Fund was tabled until lasts year’s amount was available for a comparison.  Current Commercial Club membership is at 28 full members with three associates.  The next Commercial Club meeting is set for noon on Wednesday, August 2^nd at the United Methodist Church.
