Only the Sign’s Been Changed

The Lamar Area Hospice received some new, updated signage on the front of their building on West Olive Street on Tuesday, May 30th. It took only an hour or two to bring down the original sign and post the new one, consisting of individual lettering.
The Lamar Area Hospice has been in service to the region since the early 1980s, although their location on West Olive Street wasn’t official until a ribbon cutting ceremony in October of 2012. That capped a several year effort of fund-raising to secure the funding to renovate the three story structure that was formerly known as the Lamar Hotel.
