Sandra K. “Sandy” Crabtree…March 9, 1953 – November 2, 2016

A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Sandy Crabtree will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

Visitation for Sandy will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Sandy was born on March 9, 1953 at Grand Junction, Colorado to William E. and Carolyn L. (Lampshire) McCurry and passed away on November 2, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 63.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rick Crabtree and her parents.

Sandy is survived by her children, Jared Crabtree of Lamar and Tiffany (Gil) Villarreal of Aurora; two grandchildren, Hunter and Noah Villarreal of Aurora; one brother, Matt (Marti) McCurry of Fruita, CO and step-mother, Andi McCurry of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Cindy Hager and Kelly (Harry) Freouf all of Lamar as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Heart Association and/or National Diabetes Fund either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
