Summer’s End Means a Fall Festival

The Lamar Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Fall Festival on Friday, September 9^th between 2pm and 7pm, featuring food and fun plus sidewalk sales and specials.

Early bird savings specials will be offered by participating merchants from 2pm to 4pm. Shoppers can take advantage of the bargains downtown and sample wares from food vendors, watch a magician perform street magic, DJ music will be played, and merchandise vendors will offer their specials.  Cooking Matters will provide some healthy snacks and recipes.

The Chamber Merchants Poker Walk winner will be announced at 6:30pm. The top prize is $275 in Luv Bucks.  Pick up you rules and cards at participating merchants for the Walk which runs from September 6^th to the 9^th.  The best hand wins.    Contact the Lamar Chamber for more information at 336-4379.
