Leslie Talamantes and Brianna Lewis

Lamar senior cheerleaders, Leslie Talamantes and Brianna Lewis have been selected to represent their school in a Varsity Spirit Tour set for London, England December 26, 2016 to January 2, 2017.

The young ladies are seeking funding for the cost of the trip and accommodations amounting to $3,620 per person for the once-in-a-lifetime event. Timing is critical as they need to present a $800 down payment on the trip by August 9 and have a $1,200 payment by August 30.

“We expect to have one million persons view the parade in person and as many as 3 million will watch the televised event,” explained Brianna. Leslie stated, “We’ll actually be representing the United States as a host of cheerleaders will be in a uniform representing the country when we participate.”
