Graveside Memorial services for Keith Harmon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Holly Cemetery in Holly, Colorado. Pastor Kathy Leathers will officiate.  Military Committal Rites will be provided by VFW Post #4281.

Keith Harmon was born on August 3, 1939 in Dodge City, Kansas to Floyd and Verla (Maulsby) Harmon. He passed away on June 15, 2016 at his home in Lamar, Colorado at the age of 76.

Keith grew up on a family farm South of Holly, Colorado and attended school in Holly.  Keith enlisted in the United States Navy and while serving his country he obtained his GED. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Keith was an auctioneer at Double K Auction. He also worked at KLMR for many years. Keith was a man of Christian faith, lay speaker, a sponsor of many individuals through AA, and later volunteered at Fort Lyon.

Keith is survived by his wife, Barbara McGee of Lamar, Colorado; sons, Troy (Kati) Harmon of Pueblo West, Colorado and Ty (Rebecca) Harmon of Granada, Colorado; Barbara’s children, Shane (Sandy) McGee of Payson, Arizona and Kelli (Cody) Hess of Holly, Colorado; siblings, Linda Humphrey, Ronnie Harmon, and Donna (Robert) Thacker all of Russell, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and expecting the arrival of his 10th great grandchild in a few months.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Verla (Maulsby) Harmon; sister, Mary Lou Arey; and his first wife, Lorene Harmon.
