Lamar Lions Host Annual Pancake Breakfast May 21st

The Lamar Lions Club members will flip pancakes Saturday, May 21st at the Masonic Lodge building at 219 ½ South Main Street from 6am to 9am. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
The traditional Lamar Days breakfast of pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs, has been an annual Lions Club project for more years than most members can remember. Lions Wayne Clausen, George Demas and Bennie Shumate are the head cooks and have been involved with the project for many years.
The Lions Club devote sny profit made to the Kids Sight program, the Scholarship program and the Lions HandiCamp in Woodland Park, Colorado. Lamar Lions is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year. Anyone wishing to join Lions Club can obtain an application from the Club on Saturday.
