Amrine Recognized for Posse Service

Members of the Prowers County Sheriff’s Posse gathered this past Tuesday, March 15th to offer well wishes to Matt Amrine, who is leaving the Posse after 14 years of service.

About a dozen members were on hand for the meet and greet and presentation of a plaque from former Prowers County Sheriff, Jim Faull. In the presentation, Faull noted that 13 of Amrine’s 14 years had been with him as sheriff.

He thanked him for his service to the community as a posse member and for always being prepared to serve the citizens of Prowers County in various capacities.
