Johnnie Lou Crum, of Holly, Colorado, passed away on October 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family
at the age of 74.

Johnnie was born on January 2, 1952, in Lamar, Colorado, to Robert and Margaret (Swisher) Clark. She
grew up in Holly and attended Holly Schools, where she formed many of the lifelong connections that
remained important throughout her life.

Johnnie married and began a family of her own, becoming the proud mother of four children: Brenda,
Tracy, Tim, and Clint. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent
with them. She was always there to support her children and grandchildren, especially when it came to
their sports activities. Whether sitting in the stands or cheering them on from the sidelines, Johnnie
rarely missed an opportunity to be there for her family.

Throughout her life, Johnnie worked in a variety of roles and was known for her strong work ethic and
willingness to help others. Her first job was at her grandmother Lil's Cafe. She later worked as a
bookkeeper at Cliff's, the Rockpit, and Romer Young John Deere. She also worked as a cook at the school
and as a cosmetologist.

Johnnie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holly and Royal Neighbors. Her faith, family,
friendships, and community were important parts of the life she built.
Those who knew Johnnie will remember her most for the love she had for her family and the many ways
she showed up for the people she cared about. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a
friend who will be deeply missed.

Johnnie is survived by her children, Brenda (Shane) Goode of Kim, Colorado, Tim (Neely) Crum of Holly,
Colorado, and Clint Crum of Holly, Colorado; eleven grandchildren, Garrett (Jena) Smith, Logan (Felisha)
Smith, Jordyn (Pedro) Flores, Kaleb (Mykayla) Crum, Jocelyn Crum (Preston), Mariah (Easton) Hall, Tyler
Crum, Jennifer Crum, Tori (Sean) Benke, Sidney Goode, and Brailee (Ethan) Stambaugh; nine great
grandchildren; four sisters, Lyana (Jerry) Loggins, Linda Crofts, Tamie Cathcart, and Carma Smith;
numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Smith; brother, Larry “Bobby” Clark; and
nephew, Jeffrey Cathcart.
