Bent County has an opening for a County Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Operator. Must have a valid driver license and High school Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age, able to pass a drug test, physical and background check. This is a full-time position. Salary range $21.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience. Bent County is seeking to fill the position of County Administrator. Bachelor’s or master’s Degree preferred, and Five (5) years’ experience in public or business administration, political science, supervisory experience, or of another closely related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Colorado driver license required. Must pass physical, UA and background testing. Compensation of $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 plus full county benefits.
