The Granada Town Park will be the site of this year’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6 starting at 6 pm. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign designed to promote police/community partnerships and help build neighborhood camaraderie. There will be a free dinner and free drawings for prizes, as well as music by DJ Fernando Balderrama, face painting, a dog demo by Michael Palacios and his dogs Hank and Harley, and multiple games (cornhole, dart-balloon, fishing, musical chairs and more). Granada and Bristol citizens are encouraged to attend and bring cash to buy tickets and coins for the games and to “bail buddies out of jail”. Lawn chairs are recommended. All proceeds go to the NNO Fund.
