8th Annual BBB Gearing up for Oktoberfest, Oct 5th

And They’re Off!

The 8^th Annual Beers and Brats for Boobies 5K Race to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness will begin with registration at 9am on East Beech Street and the race will begin at 11am.

Registrants 21 and older can opt for the bratwurst and beer run with a $25 entry fee, while younger participants can sign up for the brat and root beer run with a $15 fee. Each participant receives a tee shirt. All the proceeds collected will remain in the local community.  Several hundred people show up for a good time, a chance to win a fun race with prizes and show their support for breast cancer research.

And They’re Back!!

For the 8th Annual race, BBB is excited to include Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative (SECCI) to be awarded along with Lamar Area Hospice. Together they are a vital part of our community and we hope to continue this dream and goal that organizer Jillian Tinnes once had.   The BBB is about coming together, being aware of your body and challenging yourself to run for those who cannot.  Anyone can participate so bring your friends and family and join the fun.
