Highlights for Wiley Hay Days, June 14 -15 2019

The annual event begins with a 6pm Friday softball fundraising tournament on June 14th to honor Jenea Aguilera which is followed by Wiley Lions Bingo at 7pm and the King and Queen, Allen and Janie Campbell, will be crowned prior to the games. It’s also kid’s game night at the community center fireplace room beginning at 7pm.
Several traditional events will follow on Saturday, June 15th, including the Rock School breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30am; the car show will start at 8am on 3rd Street with DJ Brad Viner providing the tunes. At 10am the annual parade will travel along Main Street and turn west on 3rd street. The traditional Sloppy Joe dinner runs from 11:30 to 1pm at $6 for adults and $3 for kids followed by the Legacy Bank Duck Race at 12:30pm, the ice cream social, the 2:30pm ping-pong ball drop for three age groups at the Wiley Community Center and a free BBQ dinner of pulled pork sandwiches at 6pm in front of the Butcher Shop. Donations will be accepted and a street dance will follow from 7 to 11pm with music by the Doc Abbot band, followed by other performers
