LET’S GO TO THE MOVIES –

Let’s Go To the Movies, a charming presentation full of beloved movie theme music by baritone Tim Schall and his pianist will appear here in Lamar on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the Lamar High School Auditorium. This delightful presentation is sponsored by the Southeast Colorado Concert Association.

Tim Schall is a strong, smooth baritone who knows how to put life into a song. He presents a program of theme songs from a variety of popular movies such as Casablanca (As Time Goes By), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Moon River), Singin’ in the Rain (Singin’ in the Rain) and The Wizard of Oz (Somewhere Over the Rainbow), and many other well-known movies.  Tim also shares background stories and information on the movies.

Tim has performed in several shows and directed over 30 professional cabaret shows/showcases. Tim maintains a vocal studio in St. Louis where he has performed in multiple theaters both in St. Louis and Chicago, and he has taught students from ten years old to adults.

SEASON TICKET CAMPAIGN: Our 2019-2020 Season Tickets will be sold from 6:00 to 7:00 BEFORE our April 11th and April 30th concerts at Lamar High School Auditorium.  Prices remain at $45 for Adults, $15 for Students, and $95 for a Family.  Our Performances will be Harps n’ Chords, acoustic & electric harps, vocal duets, pops and standards; April Verch Band, Celtic Fiddle/Step Dance/Vocals; Sultans of String, fiddle, guitar & bass, mix of instrumentals and some vocals; Prime Time Trio, energetic pops trio, piano, bass & drums, plus lots of humor; and free Christmas and Spring Concerts by the Arkansas Valley Wind & Percussion Ensemble concert band, Valley Jazz Orchestra and Main Street Ringers.
