Alvin Jenkinson Jr….June 27, 1950 – March 4, 2019

Memorial Services for Alvin Jenkinson, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado with Paul Floyd officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, Colorado. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

Alvin Jenkinson, Jr., age 68 passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado following many health complications. He was born in Trinidad, Colorado on June 27, 1950 to “Tex” and Virginia Jenkinson. He is a 1968 graduate of Holly High School. He married Beverly Ford on June 6, 1971.  He worked as a grain elevator manager for the Southeastern Colorado Co-op for most of his career.  Alvin enjoyed arts and crafts, and antique hunting with Bev, fishing, hunting, silhouette shooting, motorcycle riding, and tinkering in his shop.

He is survived by his daughter Kelli Weber of Golden, Colorado, his son, Kasey (Kelly) Jenkinson, his grandchildren Jack and Jace of Dighton, Kansas, his mother Virginia Jenkinson of Holly, his sister Deborah Berry of Trinidad, as well many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father Alvin “Tex” Jenkinson, his wife, Beverly, his brother James Jenkinson, his brother-in-law, Harry Ford, III.
