#CSPWATCHMECLICK – Lamar and La Junta Schools Take Park

The Colorado State Patrol will be unveiling the Watch Me Click high school seat belt challenge next week in Lamar and La Junta. The Watch Me Click campaign is a pilot program designed by the Colorado State Patrol to increase seat belt awareness and usage in our high school drivers, passengers and local communities.  The Watch Me Click seat belt challenge will be between the La Junta High School and the Lamar High School, which will last four weeks.  Each week the students will focus on the importance of using seat belts for every passenger every time, through various school activities and events.  The students will be challenged to create weekly videos that focus on seat belt safety, and take pictures showing seatbelt safety in their school, family and community.  The community can follow their school’s success through our website: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/csp/watchmeclick and also view the videos and photos of the students.  After the 4-week challenge, the Colorado State Patrol will host a pizza party for both schools. The winning school will receive a traveling trophy, banner, and a cash donation for their school.
