Southeast Colorado Represents at the 2018 State Fair

Former State Agricultural Director John Stulp of Lamar, Nancy and Bill Long of Bent County (he’s a former county commissioner) and Dick Wadhams, who grew up in Las Animas, were enjoying a recent trip to this year’s Colorado State Fair.

From the sign to the rear of the group, the visit appears to have been this past Friday, August 24th with the music group, Triple Nickel appearing that evening at the WeatherPort Entertainment Tent.  Other events that rounded out that day included the Market Hog Show, Small Farm and Garden Judging, Market Lamb Showmanship and the Governor’s Beef Show at the Livestock Pavilion.
