Orville Parrish Bryant, 81, of 11681 Hwy. 9, Campobello, SC, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home. Orville was born in Douglas, GA on August 28, 1936, a son of the late William Cullen and Ardelia (Joyce) Bryant.
He was the widower of Faye (Jones) Bryant, retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of dedicated service having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Tinnie First Baptist Church, Tinnie, NM.
Orville is survived by two daughters, Carol Smith, of Campobello; Kathy Mullis, of Roswell, GA; a son, Mike Bryant of Lamar, CO; two sisters, Pat Yount, of Byron, GA; Mary Jane, of Kansas; three brothers, Charlie Bryant of Panama City Beach, FL; Ralph Bryant, of Virginia; J.R. Bryant of Maryland, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC at 1pm on Thursday, May 31st, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. Full military honors will be delivered by the Rutherford Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28608.
