Highlights for Wiley Hay Days, June 15-16th 2018

The annual event begins with a 6pm Friday softball fundraising tournament on June 15th to honor Jenea Aguilera which is followed by the Come Back Car Show until 9pm and a Poker Run will be held at the Wash Spott in Lamar. Wiley Lions Bingo at 7pm and the King will be crowned prior to the games. It’s also kid’s game night at the community center fireplace room.
Several traditional events will follow on Saturday, June 16th, including the 7am 5K run/walk, Rock School breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 for $6; the car show resumes from 8am to 3pm with a $10 per table swap meet. At 10am the annual parade will travel Main Street and turn west on 3rd street. The traditional Sloppy Joe dinner runs from 11:30 to 1pm followed by the Legacy Bank Duck Race, the ice cream social, the 3:30pm ping-pong ball drop for three age groups and a free pig roast dinner at 5:30pm, sponsored by Tri Oaks on Main Street. Music for the 7 to 11pm dance will be provided by Leather and Lace Karaoke and DJ.
