Millicent “Sissie” Yarbrough…September 26, 1933 – May 14, 2018

STAFFORD – Millicent “Sissie” Yarbrough, 84, died Monday, May 14, 2018 at Home Plus Leisure Homestead, Stafford. Born September 26, 1933 at Arkansas City, Kansas she was the daughter of Beverly Rivers and Lorene Stewart Allen.  She was a 1951 graduate of Arkansas City High School.  She was the retired Vice-President of First Federal Savings & Loan, Colorado Springs.  On June 11, 1955 she married John T. “Jake” Yarbrough at Holly, Colorado.  He preceded her in death October 26, 2015.  She is survived by her children: David Yarbrough and wife Debbie of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Adrienne Minnis and husband Jay of Stafford.  Grandchildren: Alexandra Diel and husband John of Stafford and Drew Minnis of Lawrence.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Melissa, brothers: Bud Allen and Maynard Allen.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 21 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford, Kansas. Inurnment will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22 at Ulysses Cemetery, Ulysses, Kansas.  Memorials may be sent to Stafford Methodist Church or Stafford Education Foundation, both in care of Minnis Chapel.
