Methamphetamine Drug Arrest for Lamar Resident

The Drug Task Force comprised of Prowers, Baca, Kiowa and Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Offices recently made an arrest after an investigation in the distribution of illegal drugs.
On Friday, 4-13-2018, the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jacob Martinez, 39, of Lamar, Colorado for a warrant with the charges of:
Unlawful Distribution or Sale of Methamphetamine, a Drug Felony 2
Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Drug Felony 4
Special Offense (sale within 1000 ft of a school), a Drug Felony 1
Martinez was brought to Prowers County Jail and held on the $75,000.00 cash only bond. Martinez was released on bond on 4-19-18, after appearance and the bond being changed to cash or surety, by the judge.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
