Nickelson Announces for Prowers County Treasurer Position

To: The Citizens of Prowers County

I would like to announce my candidacy for election to the office of Prowers County Treasurer. I was born and raised in Lamar and am a graduate of Lamar High School.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and have over 26 years of accounting experience in the public and private sector handling multi-million dollar budgets.

I am currently the Prowers County Public Health and Environment accountant and have been there for over four years. I have enjoyed returning to Lamar to raise my daughter and look forward to the growth that I can see beginning to happen in our great county.  I am a registered Republican and will be honored to serve as your County Treasurer and Public Trustee.  I am asking for your support in the 2018 Election.
