Marijuana Forum Set for Lincoln School October 5th

The Lamar Elks Lodge #1319 is hosting a public forum to discuss the pros and cons of marijuana use and to bring understanding on the health and societal effects of marijuana usage.
The one hour forum will be held at the Lincoln School HOPE Center at 200 North 10th Street in Lamar on Thursday, October 5th from 6pm to 7pm. Dinner will be provided and attendees should rsvp to the HOPE Center at 336-7411 or to anthony.latour@lamarschools.org.
The speakers are from Pro-Pueblo. Dr. Brad Roberts, an ER physician from Parkview Medical Center will be addressing how to find out factual information about the growing drug culture, specifically marijuana, and the effects it has on our society.
Also appearing will be Aubree Adams, a representative of Moms Strong, a three-state coalition of mothers who have partnered to become a support group which informs and educates those harmed by marijuana. Their website is MomsStronginfo@gmail.com
