Lamar’s Swimming Pool Suit Settled

The Lamar City Council held a special session to vote on a resolution to settle a lawsuit case against Woodmont Builders, Inc., d/b/a Western Pacific Coatings, Inc. City Clerk, Linda Williams said the council approved a resolution during their September 5th session in which the pool company would pay $32,892 to the city as part of a warranty on their repair work applying coating to the surface of the Lamar Municipal Pool.
The Resolution, 17-09-01 authorized the settlement in which the City Attorney, Garth Nieschburg, would accept the total settlement for $33,250 which included attorney costs in the District Court of Prowers County.
