9/11 Foundation Receives Local Donations

Doug Harbour, from the 9/11 First Responders Tribute and Memorial Foundation, accepted a $1,000 check from Jeff Travis, General Manager of Tri County Ford in Lamar. Tri County in Lamar and Tri County GM in La Junta each contributed $500 to help make possible the annual Tribute Parade Day held in Lamar this year on September 9th.
Harbour said he also received a $500 donation from H. Manning Company, “These donations are really appreciated and will help fund our annual parade,” he explained, adding that a portion of the funding will also be used for the planned, permanent memorial which will be located on Highway 287 south of the Big Timbers Museum. Habour noted that he receives an annual contribution from the Tri County dealerships.
