Boggsville Highlights Canyons & Plains Regional Meeting June 8th

Canyons & Plains of Southeast Colorado will hold their Regional meeting in Lamar, Colorado Thursday, June 8 at 10am at the Cow Palace hotel courtyard. The presentation will be about Boggsville. Larry Bourne, site manager, will update everyone on the efforts made for the recent months to get Boggsville a tourism ready site and also discuss future activities at the site.
The Canyons & Plains Board meeting will follow immediately after the Regional Meeting.
Together we can enhance rural Colorado’s economic Growth by offering authentic tourism experiences that will entice visitors to step-off the beaten path and come closer to Colorado’s hidden gems
Canyons & Plains is a heritage tourism development organization. Formed in 2003, C&P serves six counties – Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Prowers. The non-profit group promotes visitation and stewardship of the unique historical, natural and cultural assets of southeastern Colorado among residents, state, national and international audiences. Since its formation, C&P has garnered over $1 million in funding for projects in this area.
