The free Holly Bluegrass Festival gets underway at 6pm, Friday, June 9th with an evening barbecue and jam session at the park in Holly. The main event, featuring five notable bluegrass bands, will be held Saturday, also at the park.
Fans are encouraged to bring their lawnchairs and recliners and find a shady area close to the grandstand. This year’s performers include: Highway 385, Crystal Hill Billy’s, Carbone Family Band, Bluegrass Martins and the Rusty 44 Bluegrass Band. As usual, there will be plenty of food vendors at the site, including each of the four classes from the Holly High School.
The annual event wraps up Sunday, June 11th with a performance by the Silver State Quartet at 10:30am that morning, followed by lunch.
