WIFE Hosts Ag Meeting at Lamar Community Building April 13th

Southeast Colorado was well represented at the National Agriculture Week in Washington DC, (March 20 – 24, 2017), by WIFE members Korry Lewis (Kim, CO), Elisabeth Erickson-Noe (LaJunta, CO), Jillane Hixson (Lamar, CO) and Kerry Lewis Froese (Cheraw, CO). Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE), a national organization with members in twelve states; met with numerous elected officials (US Senators & US Congressmen), as well as USDA and RMA officials, concerning the current farm economic crisis and upcoming issues for the Farm Bill (2018).
WIFE will meet at 3:30pm, April 13, 2017 at the Lamar Community Building, and welcome all who are interested in agriculture issues, to join the group.
